What is an 02 Rekkari account?

The 02 Rekkari account gives you access to more extensive services. You get access to your 30-day search history and you will see the 02 Rekkari's highlights of the vehicles you are looking for.

How much does it cost to run a registration number search?

The cost of a single search ranges from €2.90 to €6.50. For more information on the pricing and content of the searches, visit the Pricing page.

Which vehicles can I get information on?

You can search for information on cars, motorcycles, watercrafts, trailers, mopeds, tractors, motorised work machines, off-road vehicles and snowmobiles and run a transfer permit or export registration search.

Which payment methods does 02 Rekkari support?

The 02 Rekkari service lets you pay for your search using a debit or credit card, netbank, MobilePay, Apple Pay, Pivo, Siirto, SMS or mobile payment.

Mobile payment is available through Telia, Elisa and DNA subscriptions. You can use mobile payment to pay for your search when your device uses mobile data. Mobile payment cannot be used if your device uses a WiFi network at the time of payment. If you can see mobile payment in the list of the payment options, your device is using mobile data and you can pay for your search using mobile payment.

I registered but didn’t receive a confirmation email. What should I do?

If you did not receive a confirmation message, resend the message. Remember to check your spam folder as well. If you do not receive a confirmation message, contact our customer service at palaute@02rekkari.fi.

I paid for a registration number search but didn’t receive any information. What should I do?

If your search failed, you will receive a new search as compensation.

How do I use the searches I’ve already paid for?

Once you sign in to your 02 Rekkari account, the home page will show you how many purchased searches you have left. When conducting a new search, select "Use pre-purchased search" at the Payment method stage.

Why are search packages being removed from the service?

A contact search conducted in connection with a registration number search is run against the 020202 Palvelut’s database using the owner’s or holder’s name. Since the search is based on a name, we cannot guarantee that the number we find belongs to the owner or holder given in Traficom’s registration information.

How can I stop my data from being published?

If you wish, you can limit the disclosure of your Transport Register data provided by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom. You can read more about the non-disclosure of data here. https://www.traficom.fi/en/disclosure-of-data

How do I create an account and sign in to 02 Rekkari?

You can create an account or sign in with your email address or your Google credentials. If your Google account is linked to the same email account you have previously used to sign in to 02 Rekkari, the two sign-in methods you have used will be combined into a single 02 Rekkari account.

Will I be able view my previous searches?

You can find your search history on the home page. If you run a search while you are signed-in to the 02 Rekkari service, your information will be saved in the search history for 30 days. Otherwise, the search will be stored in your browser’s cookie data for 24 hours.

I bought a search that included the owner’s phone number information but I didn’t receive a phone number. Am I going to be charged for this search?

A contact search conducted in connection with a registration number search is run against the 020202 Palvelut’s database using the owner’s or holder’s name. If a phone number cannot be found for reasons beyond 02 Rekkari’s control, the search is subject to a charge. Such instances include unlisted numbers and prepaid subscriptions, for example.

What is a valuation?

The valuation helps you determine the current selling price and the estimated selling time for your car. The valuation is based on Alma Media’s data.

How reliable is the valuation?

The reliability of the valuation is rated on a scale from zero to three stars. The data is provided by Alma Media and the valuation is based on real transactions and the actual sales information on similar cars. You can read more about the principles governing the valuation calculation here. The most reliable valuations are given to cars that have been first-registered in Finland after 2007.

How much does it cost to get a valuation?

Getting a valuation will cost you €4.90–€8.90 depending on the content of your search.

What information does the valuation include?

In addition to giving you a price for your car, the valuation will also provide you with selling times per price category as well as a valuation reliability rating. In addition, you get the chance to broaden your search to the vehicle’s basic information or technical information and history information.

I paid for a valuation but didn’t receive any information. What should I do?

If the valuation failed, you will receive a new search as compensation. When you sign in to your 02 Rekkari account, you will see how many valuations you have left on the home page. When you want to get a new valuation, select Use pre-purchased search at the Payment method stage. If you do not have a 02 Rekkari account, the unused valuation will be available on your browser until you delete the cookies. The valuation may fail if the price cannot be calculated due to insufficient data or unreliability, for example.

Why do you need information about the mileage?

Mileage is a key factor when it comes to the price of a car. Providing the mileage ensures that your car can be reliably valued. If you also search for basic information as you value a car, you will also get information about the mileage as indicated in the most recent inspection report.
